How to test a OneTouch 4 drive in MacOS [202811]

How can I test the health of my OneTouch 4 drive in MacOS?

  1. Double-click the Maxtor Manager icon on your Desktop. The Maxtor Manager Opens.
  2. Click on the Diagnostic button. A message opens, saying the selected drive is being tested. The test may require some time, perhaps hours, to complete.
The Drive Test does not harm the data on your OneTouch 4.
  3. Upon completion, a message displays showing that the "Selected drive passed its most recent test."

In the event that the drive fails the test, contact our Warranty Services Page for Warranty Replacement options.
